I followed this outline exactly for the final version of Windows 7 Pro, MSI Wind OSX, and Karmic Netbook Remix on an Ideapad S-10 and it worked like a champ. I didn't even have to add the boot loader utility.

I took out the original 160GB 5400 rpm HD and installed a 320GB 7200 rpm instead.

Thanks so much for the help.

So, does that mean that if you have ANY logical partitions on your drive, the mac disk util will not mount the target? I currently have 4 primary, 1 ext3, 1 ntfs, 1 hfs+ and 1 fat32, for storage, but the mac installer refuses to see the hfs+ to install to it ... any help is appreciated by anyone ...

I am not 100% sure, but I think some people reported that they were able to install on an HD. Personally I don't know because I don't have access to that hardware.

Have you tried to see if Unetbootin can put the Mac OS X ISO on a thumbdrive? You would probably need a 4 or 8GB drive, but it might work. I am not sure though. I don't have the ISO anymore and I can't try it. If you do try it, please let me know if it works
